what do you use to clean the screen between passes?
i've used some industrial type stuff while working in the biz, but don't know of anything to use on a home / basement type setup.
i'm printing a short run of some panels and seeing as how each panel might be less than 1/16th of an inch off i need to make sure the screen is positioned exactly right to keep registration, but with black ink its hard to tell.
any tips? |

I suppose you could scrape the screen with cardstock, and then wash it through with two rags dipped in Lacquer thinner (One to catch, one to push)
I've always used registration pins or guides and rely on newsprint proofs to get my registration back on task. Tighter tolerances = more proof sheets
Burning a Registration cross in a margin is always a good practice for even the tightest tolerances. |
