Just a warning for anyone who shops there. They have pre-made patties that look fine, but when cooked have the consistency of a dry sponge. It's weird b/c they have really good steaks.

Their pre-made burgers do suck but their ground beef is alright.

that's wierd- I would've thought that meat sold bulk at a place like Costco would have been fucking awesome....

Their pizza is a great deal, that's for sure!

Costco in SoCal sells up to three different frozen beef burger products you can choose from. I've seen the small, the regular and the "sirloin" burgers recently, all in either stacks in a bag or in boxes. I've also had the "privilege" of cooking a lot of them. I'm pretty impressed with the quality of the beef and the cooked product.

Don't get me started on the shiitake mushroom burgers or the garden burgers they sell, though.

I grilled a pack of the 1/3 pound sirloin burgers last year and they were pretty tasty.

I always get a hot dog when I'm leaving, and while I'm eating it I always think to myself how much I overpaid for such a crummy dog, and an hour later, I always tell myself I'm never eating one of those abortions again.

I had one earlier today.

Don't forget to call your order in and pay for your order inside when your checking out to avoid the long line outside. Just go to the pickup up window.
