I need to know if anyone knows what type of paint is good for the base coat under the graphics when restoring a board from scratch. I need to match the original color. I sued interior house paint. it looks OK but was wondering if there is something better.

the last decks i did were coated with acrylic lacquer automotive paint.this stuff is great.you can also get it in rattle cans.Easy to wipe fuckups off if using nazdar 2700 .And it slides better than oil base enamel.if you want to do enamel try acrylic automotive enamel not the oil base stuff its a bit sticky for board slides. |
