Headed out for a burrito today at Taco's Por Favor at 1:15 for lunch, on Olympic and 14th here in Santa Monica.
The place was closed, outside was a FOB standing there reading a sign. I got out, stood next to him and read it aloud.
'Closed to to public health violation'
Scrawled below it....the reason.
'Massive rat infestation'
Reopening date...
'Unspecified'
Gob dang me I always wondered what made those Carnitas burritos so damn tasty....
Anyhow I went to Baja Fresh, because there I know they only have a major cockroach infestation. |

At least the healt department is doing their job out there. A recent report on the local news said several of the schools around here hadn't been inspected in a couple of years . |

Haven't been there in about 12 years. That used to be a popular spot amongst the southsiders. |

Go to Tito's. Frying kills the rat germs. |

I knew there was one down by Knotts Berry Farm, but I can only vouch for the one under the 405 on Washington. All rats are sanitary fried and quite tasty, actually. |
