my friend Ted back in high school used to make this only he used strained/chopped up stewed tomatoes from a can and yes..it is quite tasty and easy.

funny thing is,when he cooked it the first time i told him it looked like it was going to be terrible but he kept insisting.."trust me bro..it will be good."..it is.

One of my proudest achievements is not having eaten Ramen noodles, or Mac & Cheese for over 20 years.

Basically what I lived off of for a few years. Not the name brand shit either...full on store brand. Reminds me of times I'd rather not be reminded of...thus not having eaten them in 20 years.

I lived off of Ramen noodles too, but I did it right, and still treatmyself occasionaly.

Boil water
add noodles and powder flavoring

Slowly stir in 2 beaten eggs.

Add chopped green onions

Add 1 Bok Choy

Finish the boil

Eat with chop sticks, slurp the soup.

SO FUCKING GOOD.

My Korean girlfriend's halmuhnee (grandmother) taught me that trick in high school. Made a delicious meal for under a buck.

My favorite was the chicken ramen, I'd add curry powder to it...and if I was living large...a can of chicken (sorta like a can of tuna, but chicken instead)...those were vapor years involving bad relationships and bad decisions...ONWARD AND UPWARD.

Tell me about it.

The bad years were just character building.

There was a month, when my mom took me to Costco, or something similar, and bought me a TV. I hadn't had a TV in a couple years, so I opted for a TV instead of food. She felt bad, so she bought me a big bag of plums.

I later went to the grocery store and bought a bag of white onions for 35 cents.

I lived off of onions, plums, and water for 2 weeks. I have never had worse shits in my life.

That was the last time my mom took me to costco. I still miss the food I could have had.

There was about 3 years during college, that I am surprised I didn't starve to death.

Character built.
