Good to hear you are doing well Steve! As for the flash, I was actually thinking about picking up that tabletop flash from Rjennings. Check it out --> http://www.rjennings.com/index.asp?Pa...ROD&ProdID=25
The way I am setup printing right now Is I have my one color press on a 3ft high table with my Inks on the left and heat gun on the right. What I was thinking to do Is print the shirt flash with the heat gun print again and then pull the shirt off and lay it under the tabletop flash on another table on my right side.
One more question, I have never pulled a shirt off the platen without it being final cured before, Is there a trick to doing this? I don't want to smudge the ink going from the press to the flash for the final cure. Thanks guys! |

the easiest way ive found to pull the shirt off(when i have a wet ink/un-flashed test print shirt), is to grab the shirt at the bottom of the hem with both hands and lift up slowly and evenly so the shirt releases from the platen.(then pull the shirt from the top of the shoulders like usual)
i have also used this method(grabbing from the bottom) on "flashed" designs that tend to stretch/skew easily if too much spray adhesive is used (i.e if grabbing the shirt at the shoulders distorts lettering that goes straight across the front/top of the shirt.)
Good Luck and it all boils down to practice once you have the basics wired. |

I actually pull it the opposite way. I grab the inside of the collar and lift up to release it from the platen/spray adhesive, then pull off from the shoulders. |
