this is old news but all the bacon talk on here reminded me of it.



The Gateway Grizzlies of the Frontier League promised to create "Baseball's Best Burger" ... The ballpark sandwich will include a hamburger topped with sharp cheddar cheese and two slices of bacon -- all between a "bun" made of a sliced Krispy Kreme Original Glazed doughnut.

so youre saying the one by me thats convienently placed directly next to an in-and-out is gonna be gone???

but its always packed..

thats what i said. but i know for sure the one in antioch and pleasant Hill are closed.

something about the company losing money or something.

They failed in RI/MA as well. Dunkin' Donuts is the kingpin here--their coffee fuels this area.

Most people don't go to Dunkin' Donuts for the donuts (which are still damn good)--they go for the coffee. All the coffee drinkers I know (I'm not a coffee drinker) said that Krispy Kreme coffee wasn't so great. That'll kill it in New England...

As for the burger--I've seen that done before--a KK donut as a bun--I'll bet it's fucking awesome, but the guilt of having eaten it might kill me. I'd have to skate an extra couple of sessions that week.
