So.. you staple to the bottom piece first and then stick the top piece on too. In theory you could eliminate the top piece and just put a squeegee rest in the back..
This needs a picture!
I tired a curved screen once and did a piss poor job. About 25% were acceptable. Screeen was too loose and we couldn't quite get the geometry down. We have sort of given up on it, but your idea makes me want to try again. |

yea, the only reason i say use the top frame is because if your using a lot of ink it will eliminate it. also, you can leave the top frame off until you burn the screen. ill put pics up as soon as a can. thanks |

So, your approx. dims are 12"w X 36"l?
This is a good idea, how is it working out for you? |

TIMING!!!
I just finished making this frame with my cousin.
I've just got to stretch it now. I've exadurated the angles a little, to leave room to shave a little of here and there if i need too. Think it's gonna be a vast improvement on the one i posted up a month or so ago. anyone got any stretching advice?
Got another shape on the way, more like a 'S' shape, like in this pic...
You're right, this forum used to be going off all the time, good to know there are people still working it out.
Stretching the top sound like a great idea! let's see some pics when you get round to it.

that pic is so sweet, i want to have a factory like that one day. but dont we all. yea stretching the top is a lot easier, the frames are easy to build and i think actualy leaving off the top frame like kilwag said is a good idea. and yes, the dimenstions are actualy 14" x 36" and i use a 9" squeegee. |
