Ok I am going to have a screen printing setup soon. The question is, after I screen a blank deck with a simple graphic between nose and tail, say I mess up, can I sand the paint down and use the same deck to screen again?
Basically I want to use the same deck to practice screen printing, is this possible? |

There are some inks that can simply be wiped off. |

Or you can buy like 10 uncuts and see how far you can go screenprinting wise to the edges before you mess up. Then you can take a few of those uncuts and create a cheap DIY mold or use a few to make up another DIY Screen printing setup/table for registration purposes. |

I agree, total waste of time.
I was teaching my friend to print boards, he'd just hit it and then wipe it immediately as many times as it took to get the feel for it. You risk loosing the primary coat, but it can still work out if it's laid evenly.
If you're going to sand the board down though it's hardly going to be skateable or anything though, so no purpose in wasting your time, just keep printing over the top. The inks lay down flat enough. |
