THUNDER or INDEPENDENT or another brand?
My first choice would be THUNDER, then INDEPENDENT. GULLWINGS are cool too

Indy 169 Stage II's... I've tried most everything else but I always come back to perfection.

I love Indy's. A great truck that hasn't changed over the years. They also have the best cushions of any truck I've tried. There is alot to be said of the old school tracker full tracs with the small pivot as well. I am currently trying out a set of Tracker SixTrac Magnesiums that are proving to be a killer pool truck.

Remember those nylon-base G&S trucks? God I loved those! I don't think they've made a lighter truck since. Of course the nylon was easier to crack but holy shit those things cooked.
Today however,I gotta go with good ol' dependable Indy's.
They don't even need to advertise for those dogs, like Powell Swiss bearings, everybody just knows you can rely on 'em.

Yeah Dolemite I hear you, the G&S were good trucks. The metal baseplates they made were much sturdier than nylon, plus the newer versions had the allen-style kingpin and less nylon on the hangers. Overall very sweet. But these days, it's Indy for me.
