| Just wondering what you guys do to make your film more opaque? any info will be appreciated, thanks, DAve. |

| spray fixative if it's laster, nothing if it's inkjet (though fixative will keep out moisture) |

yeah i tried that once but it just made my transparency turn to shit.
i guess try it on your own stuff and see what happens. |

I 'm trying out a product labled as a toner enhancer, Looks liek it might just be a spray fixer relabled. t does make the toner appear to be darker, but I haven't done any tests to see if it actually makes a difference in exposing? Anyone esle?
Also, becareful when applying, if you get too much coverage the toner will start to disolve in the spray and bleed. |

I just said piss on it, just bought some vellum from staples to try that. Works good. Instead of exposing to 12 1/2 minutes, I exposed it to 20. this was my first time exposeing a screen. got lucky and the 20 minutes worked out. did some test runs and I think I will like screen printing, sure is more fun than offset printing. If you would like to see some of my regular printed stuff, I have some for sale on ebay. They are fake $20's. my friends and family cant get enough. thanks again for the advice. here is that link:

Vellum is fine if it's inkjet. A laser printer will warp it.
My buddy has this amazing Epson with a Rip program that tells it to lay down more ink. Damn films look like they were shot with a copy camera. Black and opaque. |
