bump, yeah what kind of clear coat. Somone said somthing about a spray can before.

I use a Polycrylic clear coat that I brush on. I am going to do it over my speedball ink screening but I don't think it will add much gloss to the original paint.

It is important to never call them "paints". They're inks. For some reason that is just the way it is.

the speedball FABRIC "INKS" appear to soak into the wood
wear as the speedball ACRYLIC "INKS" appear to sit on the surface and have a noticeable texture to them.

yep, never understood why, but yeah, just the way it is. It doesn't get more succient than that, but yeah, I had a couple of odd looks from my supplier when I asked for "paint." for my printing.
