yeesh...
they are part of the wing, which has 3 parts - the "drumette", the middle part (w/ 2 bones) and the tip (which gets cut off and not cooked).
chix have been bread to produce bigger wings over the past 20 years --- they used to just throw them out b/c there was no meat on 'em
while the "drumette" LOKKS like a mini leg, it's the part of the wing that connects to the breast --
now I'm hungry. |

Thbey are absolutely, without a doubt, part of the wing. Strangle and Slob are dead on the money. I worked for a while in a Chicken/Fish market in the ghetto. I broke down thousands of birds. They are wings.
That whole "Cornish Game Hen" story is flimsy at best. |

First of all, BARRY, it's edible, not eatable.
Second, you are out of your goddamn mind. The thigh is the most versatile, most flavorful part of the bird. It's very easily deboned and can be applied to a myriad of recipes. Dark meat equals flavor. White meat equals secerataries gossiping at TGI Fridays...
Pull your head outta your ass, boy! |

I prefer legs and thighs. Alot juicier and plenty more tasty in my opinion. Got hooked on those when I worked at Brown's for 8 months. |

Marinate a bunch of legs and thighs in some Mojo Criollo, garlic cloves and Sriracha Thai hot sauce, hit 'em with some dried Jerk seasoning right before the grill and HOT DAMN, you got the goods!!!!! |
