I know this isn't skate realated but I didn't think it would hurt to ask. I want to put up a web site I can sell my artwork and prints off of. I have had a little success on Ebay so I'm willing to spend some money but my funds are limited. My Isp wants 695.00 a year for a commercial site, theres no way I can justify that. Also has anyone had any experiance with Ebay stores? Is it worth the extra money? |

From what I understand eBay stores are cheaper than regular listings. But you dont show up to regular lookers , unless they search stores.
Im also looking into a small(cheap) commercial web site so Ill be interested in the responses here. |

What's the catch to these free hosting places? Couldn't seem to figure it out, but I know there's got to be one. |

Some post banners on your wepages. Doteasy doesn't do that. It has been awhile I have been using Doteasy. I cannot remember if they charge a setup fee, but it gets waived if you recommend 2 people and they join. You'd have to read further into their deal. I can say I haven't paid anything beyond that point. I use FTP to upload my pages. Items like CGI, PERL, Frontpage extensions cost extra.
I like them and have had little or no problem with them. |

my bro dave can set you up. it'll cost a little but he'll cut you a good deal if you tell him I sent you. http://www.davesurf.com/ He host my site for close to nothing, as long as you build it yourself. If you don't have skills to build, he'll do that cheap too. just tell him wavelord sent you and he'll cut you deal on his listed price. |

I checked out his site and it looks like a good deal. I'm going to contact him about what I want to do and see what he says. Thanks everyone for the help!. |

I use powweb.com. I think I pay about $100 a year, and I just use paypal on it to collect the cash. |
