I got a deathbox Folmer deck , indy Stage 9's , powell bombers 64mm-85a, and bones swiss. Super sweet ride. ROde it at San rafael today. I like that it doesn't have much concave . The wheels are a bit silent for me. I am used to my wheels barking over the hips. Now I don't feel like I have a board under my feet. It rode fast though for such soft wheels/ I am very happy right now. Now all I need is for wild bill to finish my neon leopard print elbow pads and I will be set...
peace;

Hey LSB, get some harder wheels and you'll haul ass. I have some Powell Bombers, but they are soooo slow and have a low rebound rate - although good for carving hills. If you like the soft feel, go with the Powell G-bones 64mm 97A. But for speed, go for some Shitfires or Powell Bowl Bombers. Hard wheels = speed! |

funny thing about this is I have a set of spit firelights and they are slower then these softies.??? doesn't make sense to me , but I like the softies. If i were going to ride hard wheels I think I would get a set of shits though. I have seen them and I like them alot. maybe for x-mas. for now I am stealth rider on my softies....
Peace;

The Folmer and the Pine are the best decks D-box put out. Solid! Haven't had the opportunity to try the newer Bowman though I've heard good things about it. |
