| see them that big all the time. never with a deer in ones mouth though. actually was bass fishin on santee cooper and came across one about 17 feet. it was huge. We were trollin the bank and it was just sittin there. we thought it was dead cause usally when you get close they swim away. we were like 15 feet from it and I cast my lure and clunk it right on the head and it did not move. hit it with the lure a couple more times. never moved. got a couple feet closer and toss a piece of wood at it and it just opened it's eyes and looked at us. We put that motor on high and backed off about 50 feet, quick, once we realized it was alive. can't be fuckin with them big boys. |
