Aiighty!
I got a buddy carr that has the bds grip on it that was on it in the store. I wanna put something a bit more sticky on it and possibly do a cuztom design. Any tried and proven techniques for taking of grip? |

just rip it up, do not use any heat at all
if you use heat you will have a goo problem |

If you heat the board for 15-20 minutes before peeling, I't will pull up most the goo too. I did this recently to a board that was about 20 years old Grosso "Wonderland". Eucalyptus oil and a rag will take off any left over residue. The stain underneath looked as good as it did twenty years ago! |

keep in mind to much heat will ruin the lamination glues |

put it in the oven at 220F degrees for 2 hours.
you`ll find that the grip tape is no longer a problem. |

Id try Gasoline - cover the whole deck in it (if you have time soak it overnight) then use either a match or cigarette lighter |
