Hello,
Last year, after one of my classmates did a presentation about skateboard, i discovered the world of skateboard deck graphics and i loved the ones by the artist Sean Cliver.
So i wanted to redraw some of the graphics he made.
I've searched for pictures of the boards, then i used Inkscape to trace them into vectors.
This is a serie of decks from 1998 for Jeremy Klein and Heath Kirchart. The girls on the graphics are actresses who worked for Vivid Entertainment. The decks are related to the movie "The end" by Birdhouse.
This is a serie from 2014 for the brand Dirty Ghetto Kids.
So far i have redrawn:
- Kobe Tai (Jeremy Klein, Birdhouse, 1998)
- Claudia Schiffer (Jason Lee, Blind, 1992)
Each picture took me about 40 hours to redraw.

Thats Rad top work. 40 hours, have you thought of using a trace program. I did this in 5 minutes? |

Yes,
Sure it would be quicker but the result isn't clean.
If i had to correct the generated vector manually it would be as long as drawing it from scratch i think.
What was the program you used ? |
