You can also click on the quote button and it will open a response window that shows how the image is formatted, this is the easiest way to see how it works. When I put the actual URL between the tags, it shows the picture....

Yeah- you are pretty much screwed, you did everything correct and the image tags refused to work properly. I see this at work all the time- technology just doesn't work for some people and it defies all logic.... |

Just in case someone else searches this one up and needs help posting images....
Open an account at www.photobucket.com (its free and they have more up time than their competititors).
Upload your image to photobucket
Copy the direct link
Paste the link in the posting frame/window/field.
Highlight the link with your mouse.
Click the Img button above the posting frame/window/field—its the 8th from the left in the band of grey button below the subject posting frame/window/field and above the Font colour and size settings which are above the main posting frame/window/field.
This button places [img] before the link and [/img] after the link.
Type in whatever words you want above or below the link.
Click submit. |
