I have that Metric Bomb and it is an awesome board. I'm surprised there's not some excitement about it here, with the Schmitt Stix heritage and all.. |

Yep, Comet makes quality stuff. I have a 10"x 39" topmount of theirs. Nice and thick with killer concave.
I also dig Jet longboards. |

he bought a complete santa cruz from ccs. now ive never had a long board or ever even ridden one for that matter so if this is a stupid question please forgive me but it looks like the trucks were put on backwards. are the king pins supposed to point outwards? |

Yes. They call those "reverse kingpin trucks", or RKP's.
They actually turn better than regular trucks, or TKP's as they're called.
Do yourself a huge favor, ride that board, you'll love it. |
