Im 45 and my son is 17 and we race the CMRC motocross circuit up
here in Ontario Canada. Makes for great family time and the people
you meet along the way are amazing. We ride KTM 250 two strokes.
This is me at Bartow MX in Florida this winter.
And our bikes..

Very nice, I race and ride. I just turned 40 a couple of months ago. A good friend owns a motocross track and I actually live in riding distance. Just ride through the woods and hit his hare scramble trails and in less than a minute im on the mx track. I havnt been racing as much the past few years just due to myself and my riding mate being plagued with injuries. But that's the sport, just sucks getting older because the ground seems harder than it did 20 years ago, lol
How do you like that 250sx? I have a 07 Kx250 ( last year in the US ), 09 CRF 450 and a 03 CR125. I have been wanting to sell the 450 and looking at getting a 150sx. |

Ya cool. We are loving the 250sx. Race ready. Usually throw on a pipe and silencer and that's it. My boy had a 150sx and it was badass.Super fast. Would holeshot every race.Highly recommended! |

that's good to hear. I am so much more comfortable on the small bore bikes but the 125 just lags a little bit in power. I was thinking the 150 would be perfect, throw it around like a 125 but have the extra torque when needed.
You guys drive down to FL? |

I'm an old MXer, at 58. I started in the 70's with mini bikes, moved up through a Hodaka Super Rat to Suzuki RM125 & Honda 125 Elsinore to 250's.
My last MX bike was a 2004 Suzuki RM250 2-stroke, which I sold a couple years back. I still have a 2009 Suzuki DRZ400S enduro bike to putt around on, street & dirt.

Rad riding hamrdown! That must be awesome riding with your son. Those KTMs are legit! My buddy raced pro MX and loved his 250 2 stroke.
Does a squid with a KX100 2 smoke count?! cuz thats the only dirt bike i got. haha.. I just ride- no racing. Mostly asphalt though- road courses and supermoto. Just picked up a 2012 CRF450R Sumo for the track- super pumped on it. |
