Skate. Winter in Australia is great for skating, nice and cool so you don't overheat. Concrete grips well after a rain wash every now and then. |

I'm in the wrong country for winter skating. Most of the snow melted and I swept the bowl. I had to dodge a few puddles and some ice, but got to skate. Forecast is for more snow, so back up the hill I go:)
Gotta make the best of the situation....snowboarding sure makes sense in BC |

| I like snowboarding, but I live in A climate that includes snow half of the year. Snowboarding is fun, but skateboarding will always have more respect (falling on concrete vs. snow...) |

I started snowboarding in my early 40's and picked it pretty quick, but one of the major differences between surfing & snowboarding vs. skateboarding is you have to be on it when the conditions are good.
I think that's what makes a surf or snowboard session a little more special when the elements all come together.
It's lame to worry about what anybody thinks if you're having.. |

Skied alot as a kid. loved it. Went to Whistler and it ruined the "hills" around here. Stopped due to boredom and no car.
Tried snowboarding once. Bruised two ribs. Never took it up again. Would love too, just hate being outside when I am outside all week at work. |

| We were snowboarding in Calgary before Sims did his toft prototype. When the Sims Toft was released we hit Fortress, Lake Louis, Sunshine and Norquay—eventually got kick off all of them. More than a few times. |

Yeah Blue Mountain isn't much once you've ridden real mountains is it? Long line up for the lift, long drive from T.O. Pftt, Quebec has great snowboarding but a long drive for a weekend. |

Bought my first snowboard in '81 after seeing Tom Sims on the cover of Action Now. And , what the hell else were we to do when snow covered the skate spots in our town?
Lots of backhilling since they weren't allowed on ski slopes around here at the time. |
