Have fun! They're playing really well these days. Played with them a couple of months ago. |

I dkipped the show last night...haven't seen a good SNFU show since '88. I hear they are putting on decent shows again, but I wasn't gonna shell out $12 to see if it was true. I was only paying $3 to $8 to see 'em when they were one of the best bands anywhere...why pay way more to see 'em when they're not half as good? |

The lineup now is the best I've seen them since the 80's |

Oh come on $12 to see a great band at The Crack Alley is a steal! |

I rarely pay more than $10 to see any band...$12 to see band that i saw more than my fair share of (27 times in '87 alone) when they were far better, at one of my least favorite bars...doesn't seem like a steal to me. Though, from all acoounts, it was a pretty good show. |

In 87 I was too young to go see most of their gigs. Missed an all ages show in 86..... FINALLY got to see 'em the other night... for free (Thanks again Buckethead). It was rad and I woulda paid the $12 in a heartbeat!!!!! Spent 20 on a shirt actually! A good bonus was the jock-kooks in their Calgary Flames jerseys, who were there earlier for the game, either trying to figure out what was going on, or trying to be punk rock.... Good for a laugh. Laughing at people is one of my favourite pastimes.

Yeah...those hockey Jocks are one of the reasons I barely leave my house lately (except to hit the Skatepark) ...seems like everywhere I go in Calgary, it's a sea of red jerseys. But shit, SNFU were always big Hockey fans...gotta expect a few Hockey fans to dig SNFU. Kinds kicking myself for missing the show though...hate to go see 'em and sour my memories of the band...but everyone who saw the show said it was great! What did you guys think of openers, The Dabblers???

The Dabblers were ok. If they got rid of the singer they would be better. He has no stage presence. Now the terettes were good, considering they have only been playing together for 3 or 4 months. |
