In the Summer of 1987 I took a hard fall to the knee and was out of commission for a few weeks. While I was down I got creative and made a fingerboard. It's been lost in the basement of my Mom's for a few decades and was found this weekend during a purge event.
The Brand X graphics are cut out from a skate mag and glued to thin cardboard with griptape on top, the wheels are cigarette butts, the trucks are foam with inkpen ink tubes as axles with toothpicks through them holding the wheels on, and the rails are toothpicks too. The wheels turn and the trucks move.
Some pics fer yer head...
Me holding the board on my bum knee.

We did the same thing back in high school, but we used hot wheels tires.
How many of us could be the CEO of Tech Decks right now!?
Oh, if only....
