I got some steel templates made to aid in the putting on skid plates and those little screws on the ends of your freestyle board.
It uses the the truck mounting holes as the reference for finding the center of the deck instead of eyeballing it.
Use the mounting bolts as a reference point.
Use the template center marks to mark the center and then use a ruler (or grip tape) to draw a line up to the edge of the board.
Line up the template center on the line you just made and mark the points closest for your skid plate.
If your skid plates don't match the drill points, contact the dots with a line across the board and you still have a good center for your plates.
And finally if you like to use those little screws on your board, you use the template to get them lined up nice and tight together.
