To a long time to find a good one with title.
1945 Simplex out of New Orleans.
It's about to hit the boat to AU.
Happy Days!

Congrats on finally scoring one. Considering what it is that search didn't take as long as it could have.
She's a beauty. |

LOL makes me laugh - bought from an old guy in San Diego.
Great guy he is - it's now making progress across the ocean.
For me the hard part was finding one with a title.
Can import without a title. Most early bikes don't have or didn't have them - making the search harder.
Love the bikes on this thread.
The beautiful BMW and 356 - WOW |

I finished building this in 2007. I built this from scratch with the help of a good friend. Made it onto the cover of an Australian chopper magazine.
It was an awesome experience and the feeling i got from creating something like this was so satisfying.
However...after 6yrs of owning it and countless defect notices, I recently let it go to a new home. Here she is...

If that issue comes up again it's just an extra step on this side to get a title issued from Vermont or Nevada. I think I paid $250 to have my '68 titled in Vermont, finally transferred it to a Florida title this year.
So anyway, if you find something on this side one of us can take care of the title and then send it along. |
