A good friend of mine made me this a couple of weeks ago..
Chicken-schnitzel, wrapped in Parmaham.. coated with egg and crushed cornflakes.
Fried in butter and olive oil.
With a spicey sauce made from Old Amsterdam and aged cheddar cheese.

If I am not mistaken, Old Amsterdam is a brand of Gouda cheese (or else it is a beer I haven't had before)

Looks good. I'll have to see if our local cheese importer has that and I'll give it a try. |

Classic cheese-sauce;
Make a simple roux from butter and flower, add stock or milk,
a little at the time untill its fluid and hot enough to melt the cheese.
Add a handfull of aged Cheddar and Old Amsterdam or something similar.
Regular cheese is no good cause its not old enough.. due to the moisture it gets all stringy and chewy, ready for the bin.
Also, muchrooms and bacon, green peppercorns, kapers, etc.
Finish with fresh pepper and chopped parsley.

If not, try asking one of the lads on here.
As long as....
It's factory sealed
It's a hard cheese (no Brie etc)
It's one or two 400g blocks, not like 37kg
It's marked up on a customs form
Then you shouldn't have any problems. I've done it loads of times without any issues at all.
I find it's best to wrap in kitchen foil then bubble wrap in a box rather than a jiffy bag and it's not a prob.
Winter months are also a better time to send due to heat |

Customs are real bastards. My girlfriend just got back from London yesterday and before she boarded to come back they confiscated all of her Coleman's hot mustard bottles since she had them in her carry on. She is really pissed.
The Hula Hoops made it back here though. |

Surely everyone knows by now you can't carry stuff like that in your. Hand luggage?
You know, in case some terrorist god damn a-rabs decide they are hungry during a flight and make a mustard bomb or something |
