Hey Krayola,

I am a bit of an amateur at Adobe but my wife is running CS6 on her mac currently, What plug-ins would you suggest I get to facilitate my BEGINNER efforts at screen printing? I am coming home from Korea in like 2 weeks and plan to buy some entry level equipment to start out with since I am not planning to do this as anything but a hobby.

I have been devouring a lot of adobe instruction books, but it's not any good till I can actually have time to play with it on her comp.

Super professional advice from Kray. My advice is shitscrapes on the bottom of a worn out flip-flop in comparison to his top-shelf advice.

Dude all advice is good advice, I am a total CS noob so my wife is going to have to school me up on that first. Remember I take pictures with 50 year old cameras, tech saavy I am not. Learning as I go.

Correction: with cars I am tech saavy, but learnng as I go with this as it is just something I am interested in learning.

Before I came to Korea my main hobby was welding and machine work for the Patton Museum at Ft. Knox KY. I restored light tanks, machined parts, and did their welding since they dont have a paid restoration staff. Then they moved to Ft. Benning when the armor school moved so that sucked. I may post a few pics from that work. I made them a hedgecutter for a Sherman since they all got destroyed prior to coming back after the war.

haha! When I was a kid I built a Revell Sherman with a custom hedgecutter made from sheet polysty. I am sure I lost a zillion brain cells tacking it together with OG testors glue and paint. Turned out nice.

And before anyone tells me what a shitty welder I am, take into consideration that I stick welded the whole thing with the INTENDED purpose of making it look like it was made out of beach scrap by a hayseed with no welding skills in the middle of a war.

It's supposed to look bad, that is by NO means representative of my usual welding skills.
