So, I was looking up upgrade my set up (my last board is a Lamar Cardiel and about 17 years old)...
Anyway, I was given a set of Preston bindings- they seem fine and all, but I wasn't given the center insert. What will fit in there? Does it have to be a "same-brand" thing? Can I even get just the insert?
or should I scrap 'em and get a new set of bindings.
I quit paying attention to what was happening with snowboarding for a while, and now I'm a lil' lost.
Any help would be great.
thanks. |

I believe that all binding manufacturers use different center discs, so if you can get a replacement, it must be from the very same bindings. |

Dang, I was hoping that wouldn't be the case. I just tried one out of a Solomon, and it didn't work (just a little too wide).
So, without a Preston center, these bindings are worthless?
Anyone else have any advice? Anyone have a set of Preston bindings with a blown strap, that I could snatch the centers? |

Heres the form to contact them for replacement parts, worth a try anyway.

Kind of, but they are asking for a code that's not on these bindings. I'm going to shoot some pics and send 'em, and see what happens.
Still hoping! |

Shops and mail order are blowing out boards cheap right now. I bet you could get a complete and avoid the search for binding parts. |

I scored some inserts on ebay. Thanks for thinking of me. |
