Great looking sandwiches.
When I was in the US and Canada I had a hard time finding decent bread / bread rolls though.
Everything was soft and hot dog bun style...
Guess I´m too spoilt from home...
A typical German bakery has a wide variety of bread and rolls:

I prefer any of these 3 for breakfast though...

No smokie, i know EXACTLY what you are saying
The only place i could find decent bread or rolls was at an italian bakery, the rest seemed to be LOADED with sugar and tasted like utter pish!
If they could sort out the Bread, Beer, Cheese and Chocolate then they would have it fucking made!  |

You guys just don't know where to shop for your bread is the problem. There are Euro friendly bakeries or shops, they are just not everywhere.
Living here I have also become a bread snob and seek out the best places when I am home.
Just no wonder-bread.. or the like.  |
