Having lived in nth America, Australia, Japan , china and Korea ; I have been able to try all different versions of "authentic" Chinese food.
Western shit is just that...shit
Chinese dumplings in china are unfuckingbelievable and the food there is pretty much A1
Korea has Chinese food that is unlike any other as it has been koreanized...and man is it good
In the picture is a real nice spicey plate of fried chicken, a spicey as hell soup called jambong, some fried dumplings and some rice and kimchi. All delivered for 10US...so good

i was told that the majority of "Chinese" restaurants in the west provide a westernised version of Hong Kong or Cantonese food, and most of it is unknown in China.
and that was me good mate Tom Ling, whose Family have a Chinese Restaurant who told me that.
That looks bloody nice tho, Seangis
In fact im gonna have to go eat something now after tlooking at that, yer bastard! |

All true- It's largely bs westernized- as are most other ethnic foods here. Ive Traveled china and know the different regional fare. You can find what you need here though- especially in la. |

Bosin-Tang is the best. I had that one hot summer afternoon with hyung-nim (big brother in korean).
My favorite of all time is Kalbi-Tang (short-rib soup). However, each restaurant has its own recipe. My favorite was in a tiny little town called Won-Dong, a short distance from Il-San.
My ex-wife used to work at the Blue House. |
