I have been looking at prices for a shrink wrapper as part of my "can I affoard to manufacture skateboards" reserch. I found a site that sell s them and emailed the company asking if it would work for skateboards. I got an unclear response asking if I would like to buy this.. http://www.eafw.co.uk/shrinkwrap.html . So I have been searching the net for a good hour for a clear pic showing a shrink wrapped board to show them what I want.
Anyone have anything at hand they could send me?
[email protected]
thanks anyone |

surely you can buy the shrink in a wide roll, and then wrap the deck in one layer and then get a powerfull hairdryer to "shrink" the shrink.
do it on a table with an old blanket to stop the graphics from getting scratched.
at an old job I had to put together hamper baskets and that is all I did to shrink them. piece of piss.

Yo here is what I do. Buy a roll of shrink wrap, the folded kind where one side is already sealed. Buy a heat gun and an 16" impulse sealer. Im sure you can put together the process, haha. Its very very simple. |

That ship-it source seems kind of expensive.
Anywhere from a buck to a buck-fifty per board for the shink alone.
Let me ask you this, What would you rather get? A board that's been shrinked, or loosely fit into a thicker, more durable clear bag?
I only ask because I have access to a lot of this very cheap...
