Nope, I grew up on the white side of the tracks. The black side of the tracks would have a few blocks that would absolutely qualify as the ghetto.
As more illegals moved in during the 80s they ran the blacks out of the ghetto and eventually those blocks were condemned and torn down due to low upkeep and extreme over crowding.
Now I am pretty sure that government housing has taken care of the need for the ghetto in Mineola, Texas.
But we did have two bootleggers on the black side of the tracks and they sold Night Train, MD20/20 purple and of course Easy Jesus.. But I am probably just making that shit up seeing how you know every thing in the god damned world. |

A good summertime ghetto drink I recently discovered is "The Beergarita":
- 1 can of frozen lime concentrate
- fill empty lime concentrate can with Jose Cuervo Gold (the cheap shit)
- combine with 3 Coors Lights
The carbonation from the beer balances the lime and tequila well. Pretty strong, goes down a little too easy. You'll be pretty buzzed after one, and fucked over after two. The kind of drink that sneaks up on you. Just like that, you've drank a fifth of tequila and a six pack.

this one I'll have to practice soon... would it be any better with regular Coors? thinking 5% rather than a 3.2% |

| There are probably lots of other ways. I think there are some with Corona. I tend not to drink light beer, but in this case I think it works well. The flavor and everything is well balanced. |
