I have been using these photos from a 1965 book on monster make-up as inspiration...here are two examples, one is for a poster for Swedish band Graveyard for their show in Amsterdam, the other is a shirt design for a German music festival.

Awesome as usual Michiel. I dig both, but i think the top is my fave between the too. I really like the color scheme.
I loved monster magazines in the early 70s, seems like i saw a monster make-up kit in the back ads that reminds me of this. |

I knew which book you meant when you said 65 book on monster make up and showed the first graphic.
I knew someone who used the same book for inspiration when we were in junior high or high school.
