The caps are going down.
Decided to keep it all Texas Brews. First cap down was a Lone Star, in homage to my father.
All the little glue gun "spider webs" come off real easy...and again, I'm gonna grout this thing too, so you won't see all the ugly bits. |

If you're not married to the bucket idea, you should just get a badass Earth Magnet or two and insert it/them into the top side of the deck at a point a foot or two below (as if it were hanging on the wall) the opener.
That way, when people pop the caps off, it'll just grab them as they fall and hold them to the board.
Here's what I'm getting at: http://www.foodzing.com/
I've got one of them, and it can handle a 12er with no problems most of the time, usually only running out of "juice" around the 14-16 mark... |

Finally had a chance to get something going with this.
Scraped most everything off that I had started with.
I'm gonna be doing kind of a surf diamond type thingamajig.
Far from "perfect"...and I'm digging that. Learning as I'm going. |

By the way I used some bottle caps to make a 'tribute' to Minor Threat. Lagerphones are allegedly an Australian invention! Bottle caps are strangely satisfying to work with.
Good luck with yr beer cruiser! |
