I just had mine.
I rolled into this PI place called "ELVIS" and asked the dude to give me the two best things on his buffet table...
In the foreground: Oxtail and beef stomach in peanut butter curry.
Background is pork liver stew.
All served up by a Filipino Elvis impersonator with painted on sideburns.
And washed down with room temperature tap water. |

Thing is that is was disgusting to eat WELL before I asked what was in it. I waited until I was settling the bill to ask.
Basically I went in with an "Eat First, Ask Questions Later" approach.
The liver was obvious but the oxtail and stomach were a surprise 
The dude was pretty rad though. Impersonator since '86 back in the Phillipines. |

Dodgy food??
Im looking forward to trying hakarl (rotted shark that smells of piss) and Svið (Singed sheep head) in iceland 
and im making sure my wife is taking photos as i eat the stuff! |
