For my recent birthday, two of my best friends each had the idea to hand paint and doodle on a deck. This first one was on a sheet of 6mm plywood cut into the shape of a mid-80's deck, completely non-functional. This was by my mate Deon, of www.jumpsuitart.com
The second is a KFD (South African skateboard company) popsicle sanded down and used as a canvas for gouache painting by another friend, Sam. You can see more of her work, including a custom Slasher figurine, at http://soopa-shy.blogspot.com/

What a great job she did on the popsicle,
I'm just impressed by the detail on the Santa Cruz deck that the kid is holding.. |

one of my team riders would love the missing teeth deck. I used to show up at this park and there was always a story about him flying around... "YEAH THIS DUDE SHOWED UP AND TOOK OFF HIS SHIRT AND HAD A FULL SLAYER BACK TATTOO...THEN HE TOOK OUT HIS TEETH AND KILLED THIS BOWL".. haha
Im definitely going to show him that deck.
I really like both of them but that top one is insane.
