just made my first batch myself and damn it was good!
I cheated a bit being my first go-round but used country style sausage, cream of mushroom soup, milk, flour and Pillsbury Buttermilk Biscuits
what's your recipe? |

Forget about the mushroom soup. Just use the sausage grease, flour, cream and black pepper to make it. BANG! |

roight!
that grease is a great base for gravy, if the sausage is spicy you don't even need the pepper. add the flour and cook and stir for a few to cook out the cereal taste then then add the cream and reduce for a minute. |

I got this recipe from a guy that runs a catering truck on film sets. I got sick of only having it when I ran across this guy so I hit him up for the recipe.
Heat and brown sausage - degrease regularly
Add a little oil
Heat the sausage and smash with a potato smasher until brown all over. Drain grease.
Add all purpose flower
Little Garlic Powder
Ground Pepper
Salt
Stir in milk to desired thickness
Let sit for a few minutes for the flavors to blend.
Slather it on biscuits and go nuts. |
