Submitting Artwork For Decks

I was just wondering what format this usually is and basically the guidlines for submitting artwork to get your decks printed? Any help would be great

Everytime I submitted my graphics it was sent in Adobe Illustrator. Usually a different verson with different people.

Most I have delt with want it in a .esp format, adobe, corel draw, ilistrator and freehand can export to this format.

I always encourage ESP format, that way I know exactly what they want by just reading their minds!!!

Its actually EPS, emulated post scrip file. I prefer adobe illustrator also, but you can use other vector based applications like freehand and corel draw.

Use EPS because each of these programs have their own native format, like illustrator has .ai format, and you dont know what program whoever your submitting the deck to uses. EPS is a common format and widely accepted format because all of those programs can handle it.

Also unless you are doing a process job (CMYK) make sure you select pantone colours from the pantone palettes. Pantone is pretty standard, and any decent vector program will support it ensuring that your graphic looks the way it should. Also not only for the computer screen, Pantone books comes with specific mixing proportions to make each colour correctly, another way to ensure you graphic will come out looking like it should.

i always use photoshop7 for all my designing/graphic needs. i should get Illus but i dont know.

anyone use photoshop?
