i know a LOT of us,at some point, revert to eating these because of our addictions to everything and ANYTHING skateboarding, but was wondering what you guys 'add" to ramen noodles so that eating them for more than a couple of days, doesn't seem so"routine"..
me?
i add when i have a little change in my pocket:
2 scrambled eggs(cambodian style)
OR
artificial crab(not ballin' for the REAL stuff),about a 1/3 of the brick
chopped onions(half of 1)
chopped tomatoe(1/2 of 1)
1 to 2 limes
and a sprikle or 2 of some salt, lemon and chile seasonsing that can be bought(but hard to find sometimes) over here..
just curious on some ideas.dig the flavor out of any of the "chile" flavors.
what are your favorites and what do you guys add into it extra? |

I like to put eggs in mine, but only use enough water to wet the noodles.
I love that stuff. |

im guessing ramen are the same thing as indo-mi noodles??
coriander chopped(include the root)
fresh chiles
honey
soy or kecap manis(sweet soy)straight soy is cool, just add more honey.
water.
whatever vegetables you can scrounge...carrot,brocoli,whatever.
chop coriander,chiles nice and fine.
water, soy and honey to taste bring to a quick boil take off heat...then add cori and chiles...if you can let it steep over night, great,if not fukit.
cookem noodle long time mister...(pidgen english)
cook the bloody noodles in boiling water, add veges at same time you add the noodles... eggs ala cambodia...coriander chile broth to taste...
or...
grate veges(carrot, zuchini,swedes,potatoe...whatever)
squeeze excess liquid out whilst shaping little dumplings...
drop into equal parts cornflour and self raising flour then sum total of flours in ice water(100g corn 100g sr flour=200mls water)whisked a little.deep fry at 180c till golden brown...keep the dumplings small so theyll cook thru...no bigger than a small hand full.
throw the dumplings on top of the noodles or just dip them in the coriander broth. lime is good too.
and always remember...tofu is evil...its satans smegma.

I normally dump in whatever I've got around that will add bulk. I go for the spicy flavours, they tend to overpower everything so it's not worth adding seasoning. Normally eat them with bread. |
