I am looking into getting a Bosch PR20EVSK router for making custom boards.
Has anyone used this particular router or have another brand/model they can recommend?
Bosch makes a cheaper router but it's only a single speed.
Thanks

Uh, a single speed might not be the best way.
Just a thought, but I am not shaping decks with a router.
Some custom Freestyle decks I make, small quantities, I always use a jigsaw and then a belt sander. |

Yeah, I wasn't even making that an option. I think I'll just get the Bosch and find out. I would think they are all very similar.

a 1 HP is ok for rounding edges,
but if you are template cutting with a router,
you should get a higher HP,
we use porter cable 3.5 HP. |

Thanks. It will only be for rounding edges. I'm cutting them with a band saw.
