So far i've used the Masala simmer sauce and the Thai Red Curry.

I forgot to get chicken so i used some jalepeno chicken sausages with it.

they're the bomb.

I've got a couple of those in the fridge. Haven't popped 'em open yet.

I'm a Trader Joe's hooooer.

Well, you have to be careful at TJs (unless you don't give a shit). Quite a bit of their stuff isn't good for you. Processed junk food. I also shop at Whole Foods, when I can afford it.

haven't tried the sauces --- but, I will say, there was MUCH buzz in the air when one opened here last fall - I was psyched, having heard about T'Js...but, after being jammed up the first 2 weeks, the place is a ghost town now - prepackaged, presliced, pre everything - not for me.

That is what I thought at first as well. Shit..if I want one damn avocado I want to be able to buy one and not a four pack.

It's about finding the specialty items like a different variety of cheap frozen lunches for work, good juices, sauces and really cheap Jameson Whiskey. Sadly their beer selection sucks now.I usually hit it up after doing my normal food shopping at the supermarket to fill in the blanks.

Try the TJ spinach sauce. That shit is awesome. Throw in some cubed chicken and a little additional garam masala and serve over basmati rice. You will not regret it.

Cost Plus World Market has some pretty good stuff too.

Better selection of sauces than Trader Joe's.

Hahahaha.. I do miss my Peeedro T Joes..

I would bounce in wearing my tiki / aloha type shirt.

And the folks would be all over me..

To this day.. I still can not believe how gullible some peeps can be.

I would be looking at "vodka from the gods"..

Shopper comes up to me.. "Is it any good"

Me.. "Cheap, mixes well, gets you where you want to be.. Sloppy Drunk.."

Shopper.. "Excuse me. I think I need to talk to your manager"

Me.. "I think you need to stop being a sloppy drunk"

hahaha.. The manager (of that TJ's) was never pleased with me.
