Skip Johnnie's, the best pastrami in LA is at Langer's deli on 7th & Alvarado. |

Best chicken burrito- Gloria's in Palms
(Honorable mention- Gilbert's in Santa Monica)
Best Cuban- La Cochinita in Silverlake
(Honorable mention- El Colmao)
Best Sushi- Sushi Go 55 in Little Tokyo
Best Japanese- Suehiro in Little Tokyo
Best Italian- Antonio's in Sherman Oaks
(Honorable mention- Palermo in Los Feliz)
Best Peruvian- Mamita's in Glendale
(Hon. mention- Mario's in Hollywood)
Best Brazilian- Gaucho's Village in Glendale
(Hon. mention- Bossa Nova in Hollywood)
Best BBQ- Dr. Hogly Wogly's Tyler Texas BBQ in Van Nuys

That's a pretty great list, and I surely agree on Dr. Hogly Wogly's!
The Apple Pan for a burger... it's good, but the best in LA? So subjective, anyway, but The Munchbox, Father's Office, Mr. PG Burger?

Best in my opinion.
I'm sure there are tons of places I might like better, I just haven't been to 'em.
That's what's so great about LA. It's so huge that it could take a lifetime to discover all of it. |
