Bringing in new customers

Most of our customers are repeat customers or come to us word of mouth style. Things are slow so I've been posting on craigslist and a few forums, but I don't really want to be trolling around the interweb spamming forums and such.

I'm looking for a few suggestions for sourcing new customers. Contract or not.

(our website is in the works so hopefully that will bring in some outside sales.)
