Yeah, that's some really cool moves!
It is just amazing how 'small' the skateworld became because of the internet.
The 360° handstand shove- it, I believe Kilian Martin could pull them off....he skates every day and has got the handstand skills.
The helicopter is such a cool move!!
A friend of mine did them back in 1982.......I have footage on Super 8 somewhere. Unfortunately he passed away alreaday
Lemme add one from a few years ago, my friend Georgeo, it is not on youtube....

Hey Joe, hard to believe those ESA contests were over 25 years ago. Tempus fugit! Best part about them was meeting and being with others who loved flatland. Good times!
Yoyo, I can't get the video to play. I used the URL to get to your website and could'nt get the other videos to play either. Cool site, though! |

Try right click and save it. These wmv's play with Windows Media player; I think Firefox does not work tough....
All these clips were done before youtube and fast internet connections.....time flies by.... |

Right click and save worked. Thanks!
Cool! Looked like he was riding backwards based on the 180 he does after the flip....he could work that into an heliflip M-80.
Another variation, but without the spin, is to ollie (albeit not an ollie) over boards. I use to get alot of WTFs from that one. |

Unfortunately, I don't skate as much as I'd like. I got married to a great wife back in 2007 and we bought a house in the country far from pavement. We now have two boys, 2.5 and 1 yo, which keep me pretty busy in my spare time.
Hopefully, things will be looking up... when they get older, if I can help it, they'll be skating ASAP. Been prepping the wife regarding building a ramp FOR THEM. |
