To get ready for EV-fest ( my wife's birthday party) I had to break out the out stereo system that I had from the 80's. I needed to replace some missing components so I took advantage of some garage sales (picked up two cd players 1 for $15.00 and one for $10.00) When it was all said and done I forgot how good the old time system stereos sound so I looked into upgrading. This was the result
System, Technics sbl-b270 turn table, lesftover from 80's. Sony cdp-ce 525 5 disc changer $15.00 garage sale. Kenwood kt-88 am/fm tuner ebay $5.50 +$9.06 shipping. Kenwood kc-208 pre-amp with 7 band eq, ebay $8.75 +$9.99 shipping. Kenwood km-206 amplifier 2x150 watts (bridgeable) ebay $65.00 free shipping. Pioneer ct-w 205 r dual cassette player, leftover from 90's. |

Technics sb-2760 super bass loading 3-way 200watts (each)
These were left over from the 80's system that I had. I also picked up some Pioner 4-way 150watt speakers from craigslist for $40.00. they sound very nice but start to pop very load at level 14 on the volume. |
