everytime i have a screen that i have to wash out to re-use, i have one hell of a time washing the emulsion out. if i have a screen that i burned that i have not used yet for printing and spray emulsion remover on it to redo it, it washes out fine, but if its a screen i have used, the emulsion remover has ZERO effect on it. i have even used the emulsion remover straight instead of diluting it and still nothing works? WHAT THE FUCK TO DO ???? this is so frustrating |

yes it is. i clean the screen extremly well with laquer thinner. the funny thing is......it seems like the emulsion remover doesnt penetrate the emulsion. it seems like the thinner puts like a coating over the emulsion. is there something else i should be using to clean up ink besides thinner? im just so frustrated. |

What brand of emulsion is it? For water based or solvent based?
What did you clean the screens with? Some solvents can "set" the emulsion.
Also, I've had trouble with underexposed screens interacting with certain inks to "set" in the screen as well. |

I would contact the company and ask if you can use lacquer thinner to clean it. I read the msds stuff and they want you to use non solvent based cleaners and stuff so it may set it in the screen. |

I've used the car wash before, but be careful. Soak em, then rinse your car off, than come back to the screens and blast em with the hot water. Again, be careful, if it's done right it works well, but it is an easy way to fuck up your screens. |
