Smoked and cured brisket...we Yankees call it Pastrami.
Not sure how or if the Montreal smoked meat differs from Pastrami, but I want some now. |

Yeah smoked birsket... all done on site no preservatives..
they have lean, medium and fatty.. obviously fatty has the most flavour but you get the same experience with medium.
its like peppercorn smoked (dont know the exact process)
It has some similairities with pastrami but just like canned tuna has similarities with fresh tuna (like you would have with say, sushi)

We do have pine beer )like ginger beer but literally pine soda...

never hear of cedar soda
the cola is a classic "cheap" black cherry soda... a staple of the deli. |

There is a place here in Calgary called Palace of Eats that serves smoked meat from Schwartz's. It's only 3 blocks from me. Sofuckinggood!!!!! |
