Nice job! Tennis schmennis.
No, I didn't put that there. Nice sentiment, though. |

Place looks like a blast! Nice to see something good finally come from a tennis court. |

It is a fitting tribute to changing times. I used to play in rowley classics, which are actually a great shoe for schmennis. |

The skatepark in Chicago at Wilson and Lake Shore Drive used to be tennis courts.
I'm down with tennis though, I picked it up again recently and I'm getting hooked. |

I was not trying to knock tennis. I like playing it now and again myself. My point was that if tennis courts in CT are anything like tennis courts in TX, they get little to no use anyway, other than the rollerhockey guys/gals playing atop them. |

I agree that they're under utilized and would generally be better spots for skateparks, particularly when you weight cost to utilization. |

That place looks like a fun park, I would be sure to wear pads, I remember tennis courts having a pretty rough surface to help with shoe grip.
Real smooth but a sandpaper type finish if that makes sense.
I like the brick work, it gives a raw feel. |
