finally found some pics...who, besides Mo and the Good Doctor, remembers this place?
i remember driving by when i was a kid in the back of the station wagon, long before i stepped foot on a skateboard.
*edit - right off the 880 Mowry exit near where Motel 6 now stands.

I remember it. I was at that contest. Blackhart did the first ever frontside roll in and blew minds. He came in second to Bobby Martinez (I think it was him) in a fix. |

Awesome!
That was the first skatepark I ever skated. The first time I saw it was in the car on 880 going to Great America way back when. I just about lost my mind and begged my Dad to take me and my brother there. Sure enough one week later we made it back there. That park was pretty bad but we didn't care! |
